What is the best track on each of the pre prison Burzum albums?^[1] Let's find out now. In my opinion, the best track on the debut album is"Feeble Screams From Forests Unknown". Can't really explain why, but I really like it. And I think we can clearly tell that it is made by someone who used to play in Old Funeral. For the "Det som engang var" album, I like best "Key to the Gate", although I have to admit that I much prefer the recording that I included on "From the Depths of Darkness" album. The inspiration for that track? Don't really remember, but I made it in very late 1991, and I'm very happy with it. For the"Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" album, I like best the title track, "Hvis lyset tar oss", track 2. And this album is the one that brings me the best memories, and I made the entire album in one week. Then you have the Aske (EP), which was recorded at the same time as I recorded "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss". And there's not much to choose from. So I have to say I like best "Stemmen fra tårnet", although I haven't really listened to it a lot. I prefer the other albums. Filosofem is, I think, the most difficult album in that sense, because I kind of like all three metal tracks there. But I think both "Jesu død" and the "Dunkelheit" title track, is a little bit better. And of the two, I probably prefer the Dunkelheit track, because this is a song I made in 1991 and when the world was a much better place, bro. And mind you, the original title for that track is Burzum. And you know, when I released the Filosofem album, I was in a very anti americanization phase, so I wanted to protest against that. And I included all the titles in German instead. And the next time, I have no idea what I'll talk about. But we'll find out, won't we? Bye-bye.
