Does it matter what kind of guitar you use when you record an album? Let's find out. For all my post prison albums, I used a Westone Pantera X300 from 1986. And it was supposed to be a budget guitar, but it worked just fine, and I was always very happy with it. Because it was stolen during my imprisonment from storage, I had to replace it. And ultimately, I replaced it with this. After first trying out a really cheap guitar that didn't work, that is, it worked, but it was terrible. I got myself this one, a Peavey 23 PXD, and I'm very happy with it. And this is the guitar I have used to record all the post prison albums. So the answer is really yes, it does matter a little bit. Because if you have a poor guitar, it's not gonna work. If you have a guitar like a Westone, which was perfectly sufficient, it's gonna work just fine. And if we have a good guitar, like the Peavey I have now, and it's, of course, gonna work as well. But by a large, yes, it matters. Don't go for the cheapest crap. But the thing in the middle is just fine. And that's my conclusion, really. Thanks for watching. Bye-Bye.
