Have you noticed that I'm driving a really old car? Why am I doing that? Let's find out. The thing is, um, in the 80s, cars were made to last to a much larger degree than they are today. Meaning they were not designed to stop working the moment the warranty expired like modern cars seem to be. And even if I had to repair this car for €2,000 every year for 10 years, I would still have to pay less to keep this going than I would pay to get a new car. And it would probably last longer as well. This car is from 1991, so it is well over 30 years old. Now, ask yourself, how many of these modern jogging shoe looking cars do you think would last 30 years or more? And mind you, I don't have to repair this for €2,000 every year. In addition to that, if you think about it, they talk about environmentalism and such. If I have a car for 30 years, and if it lasts, you know, maybe 10-20 years extra, don't you think that is more environmental friendly than to keep buying new cars every five years like others do? I think it is.
