How to change engine oil and oil filter on a VW T3T25

You need:
  • A container for the used oil.
  • A mini hexagon Allen wrench tool.
  • A tool to take off the old oil filter (optional)
Unsafen the oil drainage screw. Place the container to collect the used oil underneath. Remove the screw. Make sure you don't lose the brass joint shown here. Unscrew oil filter. As you can see, I did not need the special tool for that. Don't drop the oil filter, duh. Yep, remove the plastic from the new filter. Put some engine oil on your finger and lubricate the oil filter like this. Screw the new filter on. Fasten it. Put the screw back in. Make sure the brass joint doesn't fall off! Don't drop the screw into the used oil. Try again. Fasten it. Refil oil... yup: rather important that you do. You are ready to drive.

Whatever you CAN do yourself you SHOULD do yourself. Stop autodomesticating yourself.
