Yesterday I talked a little bit about the basics of the ReconQuest rules and today I'm going to explain a little bit about how you perform a or an attack and let's stick to a melee attack. It's very simple. You take the offensive value that you have on your character sheet, you cast a d20, you add the offensive value you have and you test that against the defensive value of your target. If you roll equal, you give deal normal weapon damage. Normally die(?) in damage. And if you roll higher, you add the difference between your result and the defensive value of the a creature you attack and you add that to the damage. So for example, if I roll 5 higher, I add 5 to the die for my weapon and that is how much damage I deal. Very simple, a very logical and that's it. Although I can add that there are of course many different things that you can do to increase your defensive value. For example, you can wear armor or use shields, have a higher dexterity and so forth. And when it comes to offensive value, you can of course become better at fighting. Thank you for watching.
