How to become a successful musician? Let's find out. Now some of you don't like to hear this, but I am actually a successful musician because I make a living from making music. And since I am a successful musician, I get questions. Vrag, how did you learn to play the guitar, yes? And the truth is, well, let's be honest here, some people claim I don't know how to play the guitar. And some, who are a little bit more kind, say that I do it very poorly. But still others acknowledge that I play the guitar and successfully. And they ask me, how did you learn to play the guitar, Vrag? Let's find out. And the truth is. And also the solution to this, is that I never learned to play the guitar from anyone. And I never, never really bothered trying to learn to play the music that others had made. And one of the things that I did wrong was the pick. This is how people hold the pick when they play the guitar. I never liked that, and I did it my own way instead. So I hold it this way and I play it like this. It's wrong, you say? Who cares? It gave me a unique style. And then, in regards to those who claim I can't play the guitar, people who hold a pick like this, even if they are very good guitarists, are often unable to play my music, because I hold it like this, and I made the music for someone who hold a pick like this. And for better or worse, it gives me a distinct style. And in a world where you have, I'm not gonna say billions, but thousands, even tens of thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands of bands, having a distinct style is the key. That's how you become successful. If you do the same as everybody else does, if you sound the same as everybody else, you play the same riffs in the same way, why would people bother listening to your music? I'm not gonna say, let's find out because... And the thing is, if you want to be a professional musician, working for bands or playing in an orchestra or whatever, indeed, go learn how to play your instrument the way it's supposed to be played. However, if you want to make music that has a distinct style, don't learn how to play the instrument. Just try to learn how to play it yourself, on your own, your own way. Because if you do it your own way, it's going to be different from how everybody else does it. And chances are, it might be good. You might do it in a special way that some people like. And that's how you get success in music as a music creator or companies(?) or whatever you... And granted, today you have AI music, and it's going to replace at least 99% of all musicians. But it's not going to replace people with their own style. It's not going to replace Iron Maiden, and it's not going to replace Burzum. Because I have, at least, for better or worse, a unique style. And most people probably don't like it. That's fine. But some people do. And those who do like my music, they buy it. And therefore I am able to live off my music. Therefore, I am a successful musician. Now, this is no easy fix to become a successful musician, but from my point of view, this is one path to success as a musician. You can learn to do things your own way and make the music from within you. And that's my advice to musicians today, you don't stand a chance if you do it like everybody else. Especially not now, when we have AI. And when AI can replace all of them. So, that's my advice, really. And in the next video, I'm going to talk a little bit about the guitars. There is a diaper.
