Is MYFAROG Racist? Hi guys, as some of you know there is a campaign going on against my role-playing game in MYFAROG where some individuals try to make everybody else think that my role-playing game is racist.[1] They try to pretend that MYFAROG is racist and they want people to shy away from my role-playing game because it's racist. First of all I'm going to say that my role-playing game is a fantasy game and it does not at all depict any racial realities of our own world. So there we go, end of discussion really.[2]
Also the races, the dark races of MYFAROG, they have fangs. How can anybody claim that they represent anybody in our world? Do Africans have fangs or Asians? Not that I know of. Orcs have fangs too and they too are dark-skinned. So why aren't they attacking Tolkien and the Lord of the Rings instead?[3]
The reason why they attack MYFAROG is very simple. Mythic fantasy role-playing game is a game that focuses on the European culture, the European heritage, the European religion, and some people don't like that. For example those who belong to the Abrahamistic religions, any three of them really, they don't like that.[4]
Racial tensions in role-playing games is there to create a believable conflict. If everybody loves each other there is no reason for any conflict whatsoever is there? Gamers, those who play role-playing games, they want conflict. They don't want everybody to just love each other.[5] I am positive to my own heritage and I make a game based on my own heritage and the villains in my game are fictional races with fangs. They do not represent anything in reality.[6]

- The intended player character races in MYFAROG are elf-born (Swedes?), god-fathered (must be Swedes as well, no doubt), goddess-born (definitely Swedes), normal mediocre native (Nowegian/Danes?) and then an ancient race of god-like men (Germans! Of course!). Actually no; they are all fantasy races. There are not elf-borns, god-fathered, goddess-borns or god-like men, and aren't we all natives somewhere?
- In AD&D 2E the dwarves are described as "racial enemies" of the orcs. There are actually no such definitions in MYFAROG though.
This war (...) is an invasion; the dwarves have entered the goblins' territory and are intent on wiping out their hated enemies.
So the AD&D 2E dwarves hate the goblins for being goblins, and they intend to genocide them.
"The Complete Book of Dwarves" (AD&D 2E) Under "War is our Life". The elves reserve their darkest emotions - hatred - for the drow.
"The Complete Book of Elves" (AD&D 2E) under "Attitude Toward other Races"
(In AD&D the drow are the "dark elves"). So the AD&D 2E elves hate the dark elves as a race.All other elves hare the drow, and reactions to them are at least a -4 penalty.
Yep; in AD&D 2E, if you play a drow, you get a -4 penalty to reactions from other elves, because of your race.
From "The Complete Book of Elves" (AD&D 2E) Under "Drow"- Jeffrey the Assassin: "I enter the temple of elemental good".
The DM: "Everybody welcomes you with open arms, gives you a hug and asks you to come back later for supper. You gain 0 XP". Jeffrey the Assassin: "I return to the temple later the same day for supper".
The DM: "You eat well. They all of you - trolls, goblins, gnomes, elves, humans and dwarves alike - hold hands and sing "Kumbaya my Lord". You gain another 0XP." - Instead of buying my game, the individuals behind the anti-MYFAROG/anti-Varg campaign want you to "kick me in the balls" by making a donation to the Shoah Foundation. You are free to do that if you wish, of course. On my part, I will simply say that MYFAROG 2E is now out. The game is rich with European lore, and no: it is not racist.
