I played with Old Funeral, I think, from 1989 to 1991, so about two years. But there's only one single riff from Old Funeral that I remember, and it's a bass riff, and I'm going to play it to you. "All the magic".
I left Old Funeral in 1991 because I wanted to play a different style of music. When I joined Old Funeral, I joined because of their "Abduction of Limbs" demo, which I think is pretty cool. And at the exact time when I joined, they had changed to playing Death Metal, and, you know, that just wasn't my thing. And finally, in 1991, I left to do my own thing. And that thing is, of course, known as Burzum.
And it's not "Buhrsum" or anything like that. It's Burzum. But there are tracks on the debut album, on the "Det som engang var" album, as well as the "Filosofem" album that were made in 1991, right after or during the process of leaving Old Funeral.
What is an old funeral? Doesn't make any sense.
